PUPPET MAKING AND PLAY!
June 12-16, ages 3—6
Hands and mind converge with fascinating results! The children explore various types of puppets, planning, creating and performing with their creations.
Instructor:Monique Lavergne-Morgan started making puppets with her own children and discovered the benefit of expressive play. Monique is a teacher at ChildLight and is excited to once again share her love of puppets with children.
FLY, WHIRL, WHIZ, ZOOM
June 19-23, ages 3-6
Chilldren will create their own moving objects to observe, experiment and (of course!) play with! The week is filled with lots of exciting projects that can be taken home and replicated many times over.
July 10-14, ages 3-6
It’s all about having fun while preparing easy, healthy recipes. Children will be slicing and dicing to create dishes —Tasty Teddy Bear toast, Rainbow
Pizza and more! A recipe book will be created for home!
Instructor:Valerie Kolb serves as a Head Teacher and French Instructor at ChildLight and loves sharing her cooking talents with children!
July 17-21, ages 3-6
Children will design and plant their own gardens to bring home as well as learn to use gardening tools and compost to care for the ChildLight Children’s garden .
July 24-28, ages 3-6
Children will learn about the need for animal sanctuaries to help Nature’s creatures and what it would be like to live in one. They will choose an animal and design a sanctuary that will provide love and security for their animal!
